Hon. Benjamin Gathiru Mwangi, known colloquially by his constituents as "Major Donk," is currently serving his second consecutive term as Member of Parliament for Embakasi Central Constituency. Elected under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) banner, his leadership style is defined by a consistent presence on the ground and an open-door policy that ensures the needs of everyday citizens find clear expression on the floor of the National Assembly.
With an academic and professional foundation rooted in Business Management and Human Resource Management, Hon. Mwangi brings critical administrative precision to public resource management. Before his entry into public office, his career spanned various entrepreneurial ventures within Nairobi, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges faced by local business owners, employers, and casual laborers.
In the National Assembly, Hon. Mwangi serves on key oversight and departmental committees. He uses his committee assignments to push for fair resource allocation to urban constituencies, police welfare reforms, and systemic updates to the management of our national correction and rehabilitation centers. He believes that national policy must always align with local realities on the ground.

Kayole South Ward
A residential hub with thousands of young families. Key interventions include upgrading sanitation blocks, supporting local youth groups with income-generating toolkits, and upgrading health clinic access points.
Komarock Ward
A modern residential neighborhood with a growing population. Development efforts focus on expanding public secondary school wings, partnering with community policing groups, and maintaining clean infrastructure.
Matopeni / Spring Valley Ward
An expanding area with a unique mix of residential and informal settlements. Priority: formalizing public infrastructure, establishing new security posts, and securing clean water connection points.
